NEWS: Notification of Survey Activity:
Peoria County: July 17 - August 11, 2017
The Illinois Department of Natural Resources, Office of Water Resources (KDNR/OWR) is partnering with the Prairie Research Institute at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign to examine flood risk. A professionally licensed survey crew will be in your neighborhood to collect first floor (front door sill) and lowest entry (window well or crawl space vent) elevations in order to determine the potential flood threat to your home or business. This work will require the survey crew to briefly come on to your property to collect necessary elevation information, which may include photography of your property. No disruption to your property is anticipated. For more information visit our website:http://go.illinois.edu/fra or call Conor Healy at the Prairie Research Institute at (217)244-9674 for further questions.
