Facade Grant Program

Designed to dress up storefronts in the downtown historic district, this grant program includes improvements of visible exterior components for buildings located in the TIF #1 District. Eligible work items include:

• Wall Cleaning
• Wall Coverings
• Doors and Doorways
• Shutters
• Awnings
• Canopies
• Signage
• Guttering
• Windows
• Stairs
• Walkways
• Perennial Landscaping and Plantings
• Chimneys
• Cornices
• Parapets
• Bulkheads
• Fascias
• Lighting

Entire ground floor of structure must be devoted to commercial use to be eligible, plus the property must be reasonably maintained for 5 years following the completion of the facade work. Download the program brochure for more information or to apply.
