Jim is a life-long Pekin resident and graduated Pekin Community High School the Class of 1978. 

Jim is a strong believer in community service.  He has served on the Pekin Chamber of Commerce Board for many years.

Jim is the father of 3 children; 33, 31, and 27 and has a Granddaughter Paige.  He also is the husband to Joy of 34 years.  Jim and Joy are members of the 1^st Presbyterian Church, Ambucs, Moose Lodge and the Eagles Lodge.
