Library

The Pekin Public Library strives to fulfill the informational, educational and recreational needs of Pekin residents. Library cards are free to city residents, and the library is staffed 65 hours per week with knowledgeable employees to guide residents to the right information, book or item.

The Library is also undergoing an eagerly anticipated $8.5 million renovation and expansion. They plan to break ground on this project in Spring 2010.
