Trick or Treating Hours in Pekin will be 5 – 8 pm on Tuesday October 31, 2017.

As a courtesy the police department is asking that children only go to homes with porch lights on in their own neighborhoods. DO NOT open the door to a residence if there is no answer after a knock or ringing the doorbell. We recommend trick or treating in groups with responsible adults accompanying the children. CAUTION needs to be utilized when crossing any streets within the City.
PARENTS should know where their children will be trick or treating. Make sure yards are clear of things that can be considered a tripping hazard. Items such as ladders, hoses, electrical extension cords for decorations, dog leashes or any other items that may not be seen by the children.
