Road Construction Updates

This page shows updates for the City's major road construction projects. Please check periodically for changes. You may also view traffic cameras in Pekin and the Peoria area.

Court Street

March 21: On Friday, March 22nd, traffic control will be extended east to Hilltop Drive for the contractor to continue work on removing curb and sidewalk and installing new storm sewer. Only one lane will be open in each direction. Please use caution. All businesses and driveways are still open. If the contractor needs to close your driveway temporarily, they will knock on your door to communicate that.

Derby Street

Feb. 28: Derby Street construction is planned to restart in mid-March. Access to businesses will remain open throughout the projects.
