Assistant City Engineer

The City of Pekin is seeking applicants for a full time Assistant City Engineer in the Public Works Department. This position will provide support to the City Engineer for construction projects including design, inspection, project coordination and public relations. The Assistant City Engineer will oversee the storm water, rights of way and street openings. This position will also serve as the lead contact for all road construction projects.

The ideal candidate must have a P.E. License and Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field and a minimum of three to five years' experience. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
