Calculation of Sewer Charges - Extra Month Usage
Sewer charges are calculated using the water information received from IL-American Water Company. Approximately 20% of our City Residents whose water meters were read February 1st or February 2nd, were billed early for the sewer volumetric rate. Please check your invoice for Current read dates located in the pink box labeled METER INFORMATION. If you were invoiced for the February read, your March invoice will generate only the Capital Improvement charge for sewer in the amount of $2.20.
