Transportation Services

The City of Pekin provides three modes of publicly available transportation.  The first is the Pekin Municipal Airport located less than 5 miles south of the city.  The second mode of public transportation is the City's School Bus Transportation Department that safely transports more than 4,000 students per day to and from schools and special trips throughout the school year. Lastly, the City of Pekin contracts with the Greater Peoria Mass Transit District to provide public bus transportation throughout the City.  To learn more about each of these services, link to the links to the left.
